As part of a one-week intensive TEC21 challenge, I programmed a humanoid robot powered by Dynamixel actuators to mimic basic human movements such as jumping and lateral slides. The goal was to explore motion capture concepts and apply them to robotics through sequential motor control and movement coordination.
I developed the robot’s motion sequences using basic scripting and joint manipulation logic, focusing on synchronizing Dynamixel servos to imitate simplified human actions. This hands-on experience helped me understand inverse kinematics, balance constraints, and timing in bipedal robot movement.
