As part of a machine shop course, I collaborated on the design and construction of a gravity-powered race car built for a regional downhill racing competition. The project required precision machining, mechanical assembly, and performance optimization under strict weight and stability constraints. The vehicle earned second place in the competition, showcasing both its speed and structural integrity.

I contributed to the vehicle’s design and fabrication, working with tools and materials in a machining workshop to build a reliable and aerodynamic frame. I also participated in testing and fine-tuning the racer’s components for maximum speed and control.
