As part of the Peer Mentor program at Tecnológico de Monterrey, I completed a formal certification focused on peer-to-peer mentoring and emotional support. The program emphasized psychological first aid, active listening, and strategies for supporting first-year students in their academic and personal transitions.

I provided one-on-one mentoring to new students, helping them adapt to university life through empathy, structured follow-ups, and referral to campus resources when needed. The experience deepened my interpersonal skills and strengthened my ability to support others in emotionally and academically demanding environments.
